earthquakes are great they are known for their powerful amplifiers like the d2 and d3...grab the components sets for you there pretty damn good..i have a set of htem in my tahoe with a 300.1 earthquake amp...to the front and the same for the rear. if u like red or ur color scheme contains it they have a red/grey carbon fiber style set of components that are really killer

i cant say anything at allabout their speakers & subs, but I've seen way too many earthquake amps go up in smoke for me to trust them, but they were not top of the line amps, and this is only what I've seen. :-)

Just because a company makes great speakers or subs doesnt mean they make great amps... and vica versa

From what I have heard and seen as well, the ONLY thing Earthquake ever put out was a huge amp that did well against the Hifonics Colossus amp, and that was like 10+ years ago. Since then they have become some-what of a "swap meet Louie" brand like Soundstorm and Pyle. Sorry if you dont like my opinion or experiences, just stating my $0.02!

I had one of their cheap subs quite a while back and it was actually surprisingly nice.. It was better than my friends kicker that he'd bought around the same time.. It didn't go that low (maybe a box issue) but it sounded relatively clean & wasn't just a one note wonder like some other subs i'd heard for the price... I'm not sure on their component speakers, but I was impressed with their sub for the money...

If that helps.
