Hey Guys,
Hope you can help. My truck was stolen and they got my HU/EQ/Satelite, amps, and subs. Good news is that I still have my speakers. I have MBQuart Q 216s, and Q 213's. I am going to remove the speakers and put them in our newer vehicle. Its a Saab 97X Suv. ( it also has alarm and onstar ) It has a really big head unit, and I really dont want to get an aftermarket HU again. It would be really obvious in that huge dash hole. This is my third theft and I am really at a point to where I just want to make my system as stealth as possible.
I have read some threads on the RF 3Sixty.2. I was thinking about adding this to the stock head unit. How could I do this best? with the components I have. Oh, they did get one of my passive Q crossovers so I only have 3 instead of four.
So, I need suggestions on getting the best stealth sound with what I have, I would also like to stick with just one amp if I can. So, suggestions for a 6 channel and integration with the 360 would be nice.
Thanks for any input.

you'll need to pick up another 6 channel amp, obviously. there aren't a ton of them on the market, so which one you choose is largely dependent on budget. what are you looking to spend?
the 360.2 is nice. make sure you read the owner's manual before you buy, so you are clear on what it can and can't do.
you'll need to replace that crossover, or make a replacement. since you already have the other, you can reference it for component values. or you can run the Q's active but that will require another amp.
it's about that easy. the manual for the 360.2 will tell you everything you need to know about how to connect it to the OEM HU. not only is this option stealth, it's increasingly common with all of the integrated HU's nowadays.
subs can be anything you want.

Thanks for your reply. My profile is a little old. I actually had three amps in the truck. one each for front, rear, and subs.
I would consider a good used amp for $300 or less. My consern is space in the new vehicle.
As far as the 3Sixty.2? I am confused on the crossover functionality of the product.
From the 3Sixty.2, if I use those crossovers, and then that signal, depending on the channel, goes to the amp. Does it stay at the crossover'd signal. If so, wouldnt that render any crossovers that are on the amp, or for that matter the monstrous passive crossovers on the Q's, useless?
And if that is the case, couldnt I go with something like an old ADS and just send power to the speakers?
I am confused because everything I have done up till now has gone thru the passive crossovers.
Next question would be, should I or could I go with a 3 Way thru the 3Sixty.2, using the tweets, 4's, and 6.5's from my MB Q sets?
I really appreciate your help...thanks.

First, do you have a palm with bluetoooth as that is required for initial setup. do you have one or know of one you can borrow?
Did you read the manual? You should if you plan on installing this yourself, the setup procedure is very unique. http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/library/2006/2_SignalProcessors/1230_52040_02-3Sixty-MAN.pdf
the 3sixty.2 has 1/3 octave EQ for each output, crossover for each output, and delay for each output.
most likely, you will just use the 3sixty.2 for a high pass crossover. you will still need the passive crossovers between the tweeter and midrange. you could run your 6.5 active with a bandpass crossover in the 3sixty.2. your amp crossovers won't be necessary, and they are typically limited in frequency adjustment and slope anyway.
this won't work for an active three way front stage since it only has Front LR, Rear LR, Center, and Sub outputs.
You could run the tweeter and 4" on the Front output with a passive crossover dividing them, and a 6" midbass active on the rear output. that is probably what i'd do.
the reason to use this instead of a standard loc is that it interfaces well with all of the factory speaker outputs, that way you maintain fader and balance in the OEM HU.

I like that idea.
Use the Q213's for the front. And then run the 6.5's active off the amp. This way I wouldnt need to buy that extra crossover either. And, I could sale the extra tweets and unused crossover for something.
I dont plan on installing anything other than the speakers. And, I dont have a palm but I wouldnt mind getting one if I needed too.
Additionally, it sounds like if I had an amp with a center channel, I could combine my rears for rear fill and use the center channel to power them. (correct?)
Or use channel 5 for rear and channel 6 for a sub. Next question would be, Is there an 6 channel amp that has a higher output on 5 and 6? Or, what amp would you recommend based on whats going on so far.
And again, Thanks for your responsed. Mucho appreciado!

you would use a 6 channel like this: Channels 1&2 - Front mid/highs (L and R) Channels 3&4 - Front midbass (L and R) Channels 5&6 - Bridged to a 4ohm sub.
for rears you'd need to add another amp.
like run the 6 channel for front mid highs, front midbass, and rears. then pick up a monoblock amp for the sub(s).
