We sold the GTO series way back when. They are solid amplifiers.

So what is the purpose of the dual power input?

I figure that this amp had two amplifiers built into a single chassis that is why I am asking. Thanks KHA

well, it depends where they are located. if they are side-by-side i would say they are internally connected. if they are on separate ends then it could be as you described.

http://manuals.harman.com/JBL/CAR/Owner%27s%20Manual/GTQ200-400%20om.pdf

i do not see the dual battery connections in this owner's manual.

take a picture and share please.
