SoundDomain is proud to announce the addition of another guest blogger to our happy family. Please welcome Adam Rayner from the UK's Talk Audio:
"I have always wanted to say this and it's a far bigger venue than mere cities and the Rock n' Roll stages I used to sound engineer...
HELLO AMERICA!
Let me introduce myself:
I'm Adam Rayner, a quaint but reassuringly chubby Limey whose history in journalism and technology led him to a life in Mobile Electronics. I've been doing it for ages now, and it's fair to say that as far as small rocks off the coast of Europe go, I'm kinda 'F' list celebrated in the UK scene. As our site, Talk Audio (.co.uk) now has blogs and all sorts of new stuff, I figured it was time to take up SoundDomain's kind invitation to become a mobile electronics overseas blogger for you perky American fellows.
What'll follow are pretty much what I'll be penning for the UK guys, but with some occasional translatory items. For instance we would need to have the Ricola and Spicy meatball advert gags explained to us, and you would need to know that a 'Ronseal product' in the UK vernacular means it does exactly what it says on the tin."
We're looking forward to adding Adam's contributions to SoundDomain! The UK has a booming mobile electronics scene, and getting a little taste of what's happening on the other side of the pond will add an interesting and unique flavor to the SoundDomain recipe! To get a little history on Adam, check out his bio on the About Us page.
