Okay, I have a 2400 Watt (PPI PCX2400)(1600 RMS) 2 Channel Amp going to two Dual Voice Coil 4ohm L712 (SoloBaric) each channel is going Parallel to Each sub. How do I get my Voltage? Do I do 2400watts or 1600 watts to figure my voltage, also do I connect to multimeter to each channel or positive from channel two and negative from channel one.
Thank you guys!

however you have the wires coming from the amp to the speakers, that's how you want it on the multimeter, cuz that's how you're using ur amp

But what am I running at? 4ohm or 2ohm since both subs are running at 2ohm each connected to one of the channels on the amp, is that 4ohm coming out the AMP, or 2ohm??

you have each channel wired to 2 ohms on the sub, so the amp is pushing 2 ohms, so test it at 2 ohms.

Thanks for the reply, but do I connect the multimeter to each channel and test each channel or bridge the multimeter?

im a little confused. the video shows a guy setting the gains with an amp on a bench using resistors to get the desired impedance. the text says to disconnect speakers so im assuming the amp would still be in the car but makes no mention of using resistors. how does the amp see the desired impedance if the speakers are disconnected and resistors arent used? i want to set my gains using this method, wheres ythe best place to get a dmm? parts express has a few, would the cheap one be sufficient?
