************************************************** FORUM RULES **************************************************
1)When addressing issues with members please use SoundDomain Private Messaging.

- Abusive, harassing or threatening posts
- Posts that are an invasion of a person's privacy or otherwise in violation of any law

************************************************** Subwoofer Solutions Rules & Guidelines **************************************************
1) First and foremost, if you have a specific question please try to look up the answer using the search engine. There is a good chance that the very same topic was previously discussed. Also check the Subwoofer Solutions FAQ's which deals with some of the more common issues.
2) Please refrain from asking vague questions such as "What is the best subwoofer?" or "Which is better, Subwoofer A or Subwoofer B?". Often times there isn't a best, only what is best for YOUR particular application and personal preference. Because of this, you must be as detailed as possible when asking for assistance in choosing the proper subwoofer. Before we can help you, we need to know the following:- What is your goal? (Loud daily driver? Competition SPL? Uncompromised sound quality?) Describe what you are wanting out of your setup and please be as detailed as possible.
- How much space do you have to work with? (Please measure your trunk/cargo area before posting, and provide us with the maximum dimensions.)
- If asking about a specific subwoofer, please provide the complete T/S parameters or a link to them. This is ESSENTIAL if we are to properly assist you with enclosure design.
- How much power will you be using? If needing help with enclosure design, it is especially important that you know this figure. Also, if you already have an amp, list the rated RMS power at the appropriate ohm loads.
- What is your budget?
3) Please refrain from asking non-subwoofer related questions in Subwoofer Solutions. If you need help with head unit selection please ask your question in the Head Unit Help forum, and so forth. This will help to keep Subwoofer Solutions on topic and clutter-free.
4) Refrain from typing in all CAPS and keep the slang at a minimum. We cannot help you if we cannot understand you.
5) When creating your thread, please use an appropriate and detailed title. For example, if you need assistance with a particular product, please post the product model/name in your title. Refrain from using a generic and ambiguous title such as "Need help!". This will keep things orderly and efficient.
6) Keep the flaming to a minimum! If you have a problem with someone, take it to OT or use Private Messaging. If I see it in Subwoofer Solutions, I will first lock or delete the thread and issue you a warning. If I see it again, you will be reviewed for account suspension or banning.

The "Forum Rules" were set by ADMIN, not me, therefore non-negotiable.
Originally posted by - Chaos -: Does that include product pix from manufacturers websites? No. This rule is for people that take information from other sites (adire tech sheets for example) and use it for their own gain, like making it seem like they wrote it. Of course most people quote where it's from or at least put a quote around it so it's plain that it's not their personal information.
Originally posted by - Chaos -: What about links to documents that are the intellectual property of a specific company or individual? Links are fine, they lead to the source of the information, therefore do not infringe on the copyright.
Originally posted by - Chaos -: Does that mean that flaming will get teh stick? No, only flaming that is attacking a person, their beliefs, religion, heriatage, etc. or is otherwise deemed unfit for the general public (abusive, harrassing, or threatening posts)
Originally posted by - Chaos -: Is there any way to actually make n00bs read the rules before posting? Seriously, I know for a fact that several of us have had to type out the same basic questions thousands of times by now. What a waste of server space. I don't wanna be a jerk and just tell everybody to refer to rules before I will help them, but things would go alot smoother if they did. Unfortunately, no. But I agree that things would be smoother. I guess that just comes with the terrority. I did make the topics stand out more, so hopefully noobs will read this before posting
