Are they really a newer version of the old school ones? I really liked the way they sounded (older version).

Do these newer ones, have the ability to have decent SQ and provide some output as well? I'm just asking based on proper power and box size.

I too am interested about this topic. i really like the original round solobaric subs. i've thought about picking up some used.

i actually heard one of these recently. they kick like a mule. i am not a kicker fan at all, but they are decent subs.
