I have both of these which one should I use, I'm looking for bass deep bass going through my body and still sound good and smooth not looking for all SPL this will be in a tahoe.

Kicker not meant to be an SQ sub but can get really loud. If you are looking for a clean, detail bass I would go with the W6. You can also try Image Dynamics, Diamond Audio, Ultras, FI Q or even the FI SSD.

x2 on the W6 - awesome subs. even though they are 10's, put them in the right enclosure and you'll be happiest.

You can go to http://www.JLAudio.com to find the right size enclosure.

As far as with box is best it all personal preference. Sealed box will sound tight and clean. Ported box are more efficient with extended low end.
