As the title says, I installed a new amp for my subs and now they pop pretty good when turning the car on and off. It did not do it with the other amp. I know this has been addressed before but I could not find it. Any help is appreciated.

how did you connect the remote turn-on wire?
are you still using the Carrozeria DEQ-99?

The remote turn on wire is run to the remote turn on from the headunit and yes I am still running the DEQ-99. Thanks

what amp is it? make/mfr?
most likely it's the result of a difference in turn off/on between the amp and the DEQ.
to verify this, get two toggle switches. one for the remote turn on for the DEQ, one for the amp(s). turn the amps on last and off first. if the pop goes away, you know it's a sequencing problem with your remote turn on. if it remains, it's a problem with the amps.
