Is there any difference in installing subs with the battery in the trunk vs. the battery up front? I have installed with the battery in the engine compartment, but was wondering if there is anything different with having the battery in the trunk?

shorter power wire? you still have fusing.
i would consider upgrading the wire from the alt to the battery if you're considering a large amp.
