Heres the start of what I have been workin on. the link is to what it was back in the day.
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/476840

1st set of the 30 some odd sets I have to make.

A large part of this ongoing build will be redoing stuff that was done in a rush the first time. Most of what you see ( or don't ) was done mostly just before a comp or a car show, so there is way more ratsnest then any one car should have. Now that I have time to go through it, I will post up whats being done like it should of the 1st time.
Don't ask for before pics, I didn't take any and I'm sure as hell ain't going to post any.
Today's project was to redo the A pillar gauges. It wasn't some much as an issue as it was for convenience and looks. The wire was scraps and all the connectors were crimped. Now it's pimp. Too bad the only time you will see it is here in pics

Here is some of what is going in.

And then the control center.

It's a tight fit. And sure to be fun to wire up.

I am using 3 HR-4125's with a total 16 channels of processing. I used 3 HF-1000.1's to mock up where I want them to go

Then you can't forget about the madness.

I haven't decided if I will use 2 Inferno 8.1's or 4 HF-2500.1's yet. Or maybe I will use more
Started off needing a false floor for the center console. The brain and 2 processors will be housed in there as well as the Sirius and the ipod control.

Also picked up A new distro block for all my addons.

And have been working on these for days now. I'm about half done.

Added a little more bling for the center console.

More Molex plugs, soldering, Texflex, and shrink wrap.

Got a package in today. Thanks to Scottie Johnson for the great deal on some nice RCA's

Started marking all my channels so I can lay them in the truck tomorrow.

Decided to do the PXA H510 For the rear processor. I have 3 of them so I might as well use one

Besides, Have a sweet spot to add the controller in the rear of the center console

Also picked up a lumber rack for the shop. Now that it has wheels I will move it over to the shop

Have just about all the power side of the control worked out. If all goes well I will have all the RCA's and AI-net, and Speaker wire ran tomorrow.
Then I will pull it all out and PIMP it out with some brand new Second Skin Damplifier Pro Black next week.
Oh and I have some stuff sitting around here thanks to Scottie at XS power.

I needed a solid way to bolt everything down. Sheetmetal screws suck when you have one of these
It's like having pop rivets with threads in the middle

ANT over at Second Skin hooked me up proper!
He said I wasn't busy enough so he sent me more work to do

The UPS man hasn't been too happy with me lately. He asked if I had any packages coming in that wasn't over 50 lbs. I said just wait till my sub order comes in

Hard to tell in the pics, but the new black is the ****!

i really like where you're going with this. that's a lot of signal cabling - it's good to see you're taking the time to route it nicely.
i really like the Molex connectors, nice touch.

Thanks,
The first build was a collection of add-ons and changes right before a comp. 5+ years of "get by and re-do it later"
Now I have the time to do it right
