Does anyone know where I can get a replacement set screw for the power/ground connections for a Kicker zx350.4? I lost the set screw for the ground connection, and have no idea where to get another one. The only solution I have come up with is to buy another amp, but then why use the same amp, and not the new one?

You can get them at any hardware store like Lowes.Make sure their the same diameter and thread pitch.

yep, take one with you. they are usually in the small parts drawers, sold individually, around a buck a piece.

How exactly can I determine the 'thread pitch'? I feel stupid asking, seeing as I worked in construction for about five years, lol!

i would just take one out, take it to a hardware store, they should also have a thread gauge (that you can screw it into).

otherwise look for a nut that matches.

you could also guess and check...

grab a set screw you think will work and mesh the threads together. you're looking for them to mate up exactly together

I know this is an old thread, but I did find one to match. I took KHAs advice, and took the remaining screw to home depot, ended up finding one that matched perfectly!!! All's well that ends well I guess...
