JUST GOT AN 18" AND MY FUSES KEEPS BLOWING!! HELP!!!

SO I JUST BOUGHT AN 18" FI BTL MADE THE BOX AND INSTALLED IT..I HAD A 150A FUSE UNDER THE HOOD AND AFTER ABOUT 10 MINS...BLEW OUT! SO I WAS SCARED IT MIGHT HAD BEEN MY AMP THAT BLEW..I REPLACE THE BROKEN FUSE WITH ANOTHER 150A, JUST TO SEE IF ITS NOT MY AMP AND ITS BUMPING FOR ABOUT 5 MINS..AND AGAIN! BLOWS OUT! WHAT DO I DO?? DO I DESPERATELY NEED ANOTHER BATTERY? THIS IS MY ELECTRICAL SET UP AS OF NOW:
1/2 OF BIG 3 UPGRADE DONE..
1 YELLOW TOP OPTIMA
4 FARAD CAPACITOR
1 HIFONICS 2000W BRUTUS
1 SOUNDSTREAM BX-12 EPICENTER
1 KENWOOD 400W AMP (FOR MIDS & HIGHS)
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS!

What size wire are you running? Did you check all your connections? Please do not type in caps, it makes it hard to read.

what size is your main power wire?
and please don't use all caps, it's incredibly annoying.

sorry about the caps!!!! lol...never again! lol..but my power wire is 4 gauge as well as my ground wire from my amp..
i just dont know if i need to get an extra battery in the back for it to stop blowing out fuses or i just dont know..

basher beat me to it. you need to upgrade to 1/0, you've exceeded the current capabilities of th 4awg.

Yes. Deffenitly run 1/0awg. if you don't upgrade you will continue to blow fuses.

hmmm so running the 1/0 should solve my blowing fuses problem huh? well i hope your right! ima take your word for it and go get it re wired!...thanks bro!!
