I have the MB PVF 213's in kick panels, and want to install these in my door. It says to run wires through the 213's first then out to the 164's. Each has it's own cross over so why would you do this? I'm running them off a RF T600-4 4 channel amp. I thought you would just run the 213's off front channel , then run rear channel to the 164's and you would be good. Then set my cross over's on my RF 3sixty.2 to HP on front , get it were I want it at, then set the BP on rear where I want it at and it would be good to go. What am I missing?

you have the right idea. don't wire through the passive crossovers.
use the 4 channel amp like you describe.

So you are saying don't use the cross-over's that came with them. Just use the 3sixty.2. I don't know much about going to active set up. I was just going to use the cross over's in the 3sixty.2 to put the cut off's where I want them.

don't use the PCE164 crossovers unless the 3sixty.2 won't let you bandpass them properly. you want a high pass around 80Hz with the amp. low pass at the midrange frequency - around 200Hz or more.
for the PVF213 you'll use the passives to divide the tweeter and midrange. high pass with the amp at the midbass frequency - around 200Hz or more.

My 3sixty.2 want be back for about a week. I could just run the rear channel to passive cross-over's correct. The only thing is, they don't specify where anything is being crossed over at. I assume , being that they have got a cross-over with them it would be a BP cross-over. I need to get these installed this week. Does anyone know what the cross-over's on these are already set too.

each model is different. most likely, it's just low pass for the mid, high pass for the tweeter. no idea on frequency. you can look at the component values and figure it out.

Its say's 40 - 280hz. It has no tweeter, and it comes with its own cross-over's. I guess I'll just wait until the 3sixty.2 comes back in. This re-do build is getting on my nerves now. Things just aren't going quite right.

oh, you were talking about THAT crossover. ha.
it's probably just low pass around 280Hz. it won't have a high pass due to the cost of components.

ha. no idea. use a 1.5V battery and touch the terminals with it. when the cone moves out - you know polarity.
