I am building my SQ system and will like to know what is the most important aspect of a head unit (specs) should I be after. Example: Signal to noise ratio, voltage output, processor, brand, etc. I will be using amps and again, I want the cleanest posible sound. Any sugestion??? Thanks

24bit D/A converters are a nice feature. voltage output of 5V or higher is also nice. Can your amps accept 8V signals? balanced signals?
if you want a processor, and don't want one separate, then you'd need to find one integrated. but if your processor is already separate (like an Audison Bit-One) then you really don't care if one is internal. Maybe you want a fiber optic output if you have an external processor.
list your system (or planned system) and we can better answer your question.

The Pioneer DEH-P01 (P99RS) is an integrated processing source. This however is a "grey market" source here in the states. Mine is being ordered on the 18th in a group buy.
Like KHA has mentioned, it all depends on what you've got and what you want.
You can get a clean sound from a well installed deck usually at any level. What you get is at this level is more features, more flexibility, and more accurate sound.
Tell us more of what you want.

Thanks guys, I have: 2 12 Infinity Kappa 12s (new ones), 3 way x-over (low/mids/high), one 31 bands per channel MA audio eq, 4 Poewerbass competition mids @100w. What I dont have but will like: 3 amps (Bass 1200w+-), Mids 150w+-, highs 75w+-. I know the amp for the highs is too much; nevertheless, I had components before and highs are never enough for me and since I have the X-Over for the highs I will have a lot of flexibility and clean power for my highs, Tweeters, dont know yet, and a Battery to feed the amps. I want the cleanest possible sound since what I want is to have a very high for signal peaks without distortion. I will like to hear your opinion on this. Thanks again..

You do not need a 3 amp tri amp system. You can use a 4 channel amp for your mids and highs and a mono for your sub. Tweeters does not require alot of power so when setting you level, you want it to sound the same in level as the the rest of your speakers. In order to do this you would need a well-recorded music or even better, pink noise.

as an addidtion to what highend was saying...
You can also use a four channel amplifier on a three way set. the front channels push the mids and highs (with the tweeters capped in-line with the posi on the tweeter) adn the rear channels push the mid woofers.
This keeps everything simple...the reccomendation is that you have a beefy four channel for those midwoofers though...
