Here is the deal I have a 4gauge ofc copper kicker power cable running from my battery to a distributor block to one 08zx 750.1 kicker mono amp, this amp has (2)40a fuses on the side & one cadence xenith xa 125.2 with (1)30a fuse on the side. I currently have (1)100 amp anl fuse on the fuse holder and (2)80amp fuses on the distributor block. Am I using the correct fuses or what am I doing wrong. Let me know what you think.

100A at the battery is fine.

you didn't say what size the wires were from the distro block to the amps.

80A at the distro block is fine as long as the wire size is 4awg. if the wire size is 8awg the fuse should be 60A. fuse for the wire size.

the amps have their own fuses so don't worry about matching them. just worry about sizing for the wire.

I wouldn’t say anything was actually wrong however I would suggest to upgrade the battery fuse; maybe a 150 amp
