Hey, a couple years ago I had a 10" Punch series 1 in a pre-tuned factory ported enclosure, running off a cheapie amp, and for a grand total of $200 added a decent ammount of body to the music for such a tiny budget. Question is, is their series 2 punches really sound much better to be worth the extra 50% or so they cost? My system was stolen last year, and I'm just lookin for something similarly cheap to replace the one I used to have and maybe a little louder. Thanks!

im sorry i meant to say stage 1 or 2, rather than series 1 or 2.
May i also add, I listen to metal. Not rap. So boomier is not better.

stage 2 is a beefer sub. higher power handling.
if you have more power to give it, go with the beefer sub.
more power is good for metal. you want the punch of the kick drum. that requires power.
