i've been very paranoid lately about the security of my system. i do not have the money to dish out on a aftermarket security system so i want to get the stock one working as best as i can.

my passenger-side door sensor (not sure the official name but i think its basically a momentary switch) is not working... therefore if a thief chose that door, they could get in silently.

it is a '99 chevy blazer. any idea how to fix/replace?

Go to the dealer and buy a new pin switch.
