I just bought a Carrozeria DEQ-99 used. I can't get it to work except to light up the buttons. No screen, contol or sound. I can't find a manual on-line for it.I downloaded the manual for a Pioneer DEQ 9200 which is the US version. The install is simple. There is only a ground wire, power wire, wire for lighting and a remote for use to turn on another unit or amp. There is no acc wire for the unit to turn on and there is no power on button on the unit. The rca hook ups are easy. It has one input that plugs in to the front set of rcas out of the headunit.The output rcas go to the amps. Thats it. Any help is appreciated.

is it wired up to a head unit, fully installed in the vehicle?
it may just be a bad unit. i would bench test it so you have a controlled environment. also, where is it grounded?

Yes and yes. I have it grounded to the same ground as the headunit.

I knew that. The seller has offered a refund and has been very apologetic. I purchased it thru paypal so I have protection as well.

embarrassing really. I had no manual to go by and was forgetting to power the remote turn on wire.

that happens, no worries. it's good that you were able to figure that out instead of shipping it back even though it wasn't broken. THAT would have been embarassing

Yea, my headunit had the same blue wire and I knew I didnt use it when I installed it. Therefore, I did not think I needed it on the eq. I thought it was for turning on another power unit.
