help with 94 mustang guy cut off wiring harness

ok so i just got this car and the dude that had it put a aftermarket cd player in, but i guess was either to stupid or cheap to go out and get the adapter to connect the oem wiring to the new HU, so he just cut the wires and spliced them together....whats my best option to rectify this?
