I have a Soundstream 500sx amp. I want to run a set of PPI 365cs components for front stage. The amp specss state 75x2@4ohms or 150x2 bridged. The speakers require 150 watts rms. How do I do this? I understand how to bridge mono for subs.
I also have a Soundstream 500 that has a high watt/high current switch. It runs 62.5x2@4 ohms on high current and 150x2 on high watt. Should I jusst use this one instead?

i think you should bridge the 500sx. follow the labels on the amp so you bridge the speakers properly. channels 1&2 get bridged and fed to the left speaker. channels 3&4 get bridged and fed to the right speaker.

you will need Y-adapters in order to split the left and right signals since you need two left and two right RCA inputs. Buy a Y adapter with one female and two male RCA connectors. it will be located at the amp. Get whatever manufacturer/model that suits your installation best.

The 500sx is a two channel amp. I dont think I can wire it the way you described.

you got the specs wrong

it should be
75 x 2 @ 4 ohms
150 x 2 @ 2 ohms
300 x 1 @ 4 ohms

you need a different amp if you want to send 150 watts to your components

ah, i read your post stating 150Wx2 bridged and assuemed you meant 75Wx4.

try putting them on the 500SX with 75Wx2 and see what you think.

Thats what I will do first. Then I'll step up to a Ref 1000 if needed.

or get a second 500sx. then you can either bridge each or try running them active.

There will not be a huge difference between 75-150 RMS anyway.
