03 Accord HU swap for satellite

I have an 03 Accord EXL-V6 and Honda didn't start putting satellite radio in their vehicles until 2004. Putting in a aftermarket HU will make my car look like it has two stereos. I don't like that idea. Can anyone tell me if I could swap my stereo for one with the same parameters (dual heat-a/c, no nav)from a later model (thru 06). Any help is appreciated.

^ that is to install an aftermarket HU and make it look good.

as to whether or not you can put a factory HU in the vehicle that is from a later model, depends on your skill level. can it be done? sure, with customization from a professional. is it a simple swap? maybe not. 7th gen is 2003-2007. so there will be similarities. however, if the dash is different, the swap will be more difficult.

one from a newer gen should still fit. I have an 05, and someone else that competes has an 07. The bigger problem you're going to have is aesthetically getting a gps antenna for your car. Mine has the factory sharkfin on the back, and I'm not sure how that's wired in.

And yes, it does look like I have two radios, but this is a good thing to me b/c I can take the faceplate off the bottom one and it's not anywhere near as noticeable, i.e. people won't bother your car as much.
