791xv stop responding to remotes// replace alarm

2nd time this happened. first time had to bring it to installer. so again i go up to the car, and it does not open or close the door with the remote. it was working fine in the morning..didn't replace battery or nothing. did try to replace battery after it didn't work, but still no response..is it the brain or remote. also what would be a direct replacement for the brain using the 791xv harness.

Those remotes have serious issues.

The 5900sst is a direct replacement but the antenna is different.
