I have a question is there any easy way that I can run my sub at 1 ohm with the termials on the sub being push termials where you can only fit about one wire in there? is there any speaker connectors out there for this kind of wire? thanks

usually those push terminals on the subs will hold an 8-10 gauge wire. for the short runs needed to wire the sub in parallel, a pair of 14's should fit. you just strip the wire, push the spring loaded end down, and put the wire in the hole. it's kindof like sex the first time. \:p

i would get pictures but dont really know how to put them on here. Its a FI Q series subwoofer and its dual 2 ohm subwoofer, so it can be ran at 1 ohm or 4 ohm. Right know its at 1 ohm in parallel. Im just trying to find the best method to run this subwoofer in 1 ohm load.
All im saying is I already did thumpers method just wondering if there is any other way I can hook is up better>? thanks

that's pretty much standard. no way to solder those terminals easily, but that design is pretty standard. if you want something more secure, zip tie the speaker wire to a free spot on the basket where it's not going to interfere with the cone movement.

Do they have holes in the back that you could use banana plugs?

if they look something like this

you can use something like this to connect your wires
