Hey everyone, I have a Scion xB and have been running Jbl Power Series for about a year now. I have fiberglass kickpanels in the floor and the tweet in each sail panel. Lots of dynamat and a Phoenix Gold x100.4 amp. I have been pondering on the idea of changing the setup to Gti MK II. The only drawback to that is that they are designed to run with the crossovers they come with. I have the funds to try them but I reallllyyy don't want to go through if they sound crappy.. I have a Alpine pxa-h700 processor that I am currently using. Take this knowing I am already in the Mid-80's on my scores in MECA in the Modified Class in SQ.

Personally I'm not a huge fan of JBL. They make some decent stuff, but I really don't car too much about em. The GTI series look like they are setup a lot better than the Power Series. http://www.jbl.com/car/products/product_detail.aspx?prod=C608GTI MKII&Language=ENG&Country=US&Region=USA&cat=COS&ser=GTI See if you can find a JBL dealer in your area who has a set of the GTIs on a sound board that you can listen to. Try to see if you can hear em first before you buy them. If you are wanting better sound and your current JBL speakers aren't cutting it for you, maybe check out some other brands. Focal, Dynaudio, Rainbow, Diamond Audio D9 series, Morel, etc... Just my 2 cents. I personally run Focal speakers in my car and love them.
