i took out my 2 kx 120's and installed a zx 650.4 , i moved the grounds and yes it is a good ground the cables are all new , the sound comes from the output on the kx 200.2 , why would this happen now and not before ? and would it matter is the two amps are grounded in the same place ??

Well god, what is a ground noise? Is it alternator whine in which you speak of?

is alternator whine the same as alternator wine? can you drink the latter?

maybe it's the amp. how is the HU grounded? what HU do you have?

i think its a cda826 alpine , the sound was not there before , yea its a wine , also ne idea about clam shell box ? i picked up one more 15" l5 today and i have 1 more zx 2500.1 on the way
