A Sound Domain member was in search of high output bass that had good sound quality to it. The JL Audio W7 subwoofer was a perfect choice, but he wanted more. He surfed the web and found my post about my JL Audio dual 12W3 H.O. enclosure. He asked me to take some dimensions and pics so he could understand the chamber-coupled port design.
Here are the "rough" plans i gave him

And some pics of my brother-in-law's Dual 12W3D4 H.O. Enclosure

And a test fit in the back of my Accord

Below are pictures given to me from member seamo_katinas on his custom build. Wow!

here is a picture slide show of the above pics with music http://www.videogaga.lt/video?id=oyijsmxcpszorfgmow
here is a video of the sub in action - with one Pioneer PRS2000SPL wired to 3 ohms. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BgF-swpgjiY
When using two Pioneer PRS2000SPL amps each wired to 1.5ohms he metered 148dB at the windshield. Not bad for a stock vehicle with 2 forward facing 12's in the trunk!

that design can work for any sub that is designed for ported enclosures. the dimensions will vary.

i assume you would just build a ported box to the sub specs like any other ported box. except the port turns into the "chamber". that turn should be part of the port length.
