Would a pair of cheap one hundred to one hundred fifty dollar comps still sound better than a pair of expensive 150-200. 5x7?

not at the moment, id be running them off of my pioneer deh-p7800mp.

considering good door deadening, and good installation with good placement.

amplifier will be added in the near future.

coaxial drivers suck. entry level comps will sound better. note that some comps can have the tweeter in the pole piece making a "coaxial". what is important is an external passive crossover.
