Is there any physical way to test the siren to see if it is working or not? My alarm hasn't been "chirping" for about a month now. The keyless entry and everything else work. When the alarm goes off, my receiver alarm me, the light blinks and stuff like that but no sound.

So how can I test to see if it is the siren that is dead or if it is the alarm itself.

most sirens run off of pure 12V.....

if you have a multimeter, just test the siren wires while the alarm is going off.

If it is 12v, can I run the wire off the car battery it should go off?

The car is not in valet mode. If it is in valet mode, the remote will say valet.

Disconnect the siren. Red 12v and black ground
Hook it to the battery.

Thanks,
I did that, the siren works, I checked the wire, followed it and found out it came loose.

Soldered connections don't come loose.
