Finally trying to get my KRX2's dialed in. Left the EQ flat and trying for the best sound I can get with the adjustments in the x-over boxes. My tweets are almost ear level firing across the windshield. I found -6db to be the best for those. The tweets have a 12db or 18db cutoff option. I set to 18db. The Mids I left at what I think they called FLAT. I know there is a 12db setting also and one of these allows the mids to play higher and this created a sharp sound so I turned the switch so the mids dont play as high. This so far as gotten what I think is the best sound and then I have the Alpine Imprint tuner on the way today to finish off the system. Do these settings sound about right? Should I let the mid play higher and then try to let the Imprint adjust or just leave it as is? Thx for any input!

I have the imprint in my car, it will do a very nice job on your mids and tweeters. Get your speakers to sound as good as you can first. When you go to run the imprint, set your bass and treble to flat and turn your sub all the way down. Next turn the gain down about 1/4 turn on your sub amp, the imprint will rob you of a lot of your bass. The reference curve will sound the best for everyday lisening. You might like the flat curve for really cranking it up, it will tame the harshness in your tweeters at very high volume levels.

Make sure when you plug and unplug the mic and USB cable that your key is off or you will damage the processor for shure.

Thanks for the information. I got it sounding better and a lot closer to what I like by self tuning. Will be doing imprint this weekend.
