ipod kit creating engine noise in speakers?

i got an ipod integration kit from neo car audio, and it plugs in through the satelite radio port in the back of my stock radio in a 2003 honda accord. but when i play my ipod theres a lot of engine noise coming from my speakers as i rev the engine the wine gets louder. it doesnt do this if im listening to a cd or radio, so what can i do to get rid of this noise.

does the ipod get power from a 12v source or the kit? If 12v, disconnect power and see what happens. I've had to use a general radio shack ground loop isolator with my ipod and sat radio setup in my taurus. Also, the big 3 can help more than one would imagine. also- does the kit have it's own ground?
