I have 6 1/2 comp. installed in my doors with one layer of dynamat on the inside and outside door skin, also I have dynaxorb behind the mid. My question is will installing some S.K overkill help even more? Anyone that has used this product tell me what you think.

The closed cell foam will indeed help. What happens is that the foam helps absorb certain frequencies. You can put foam on the inside door skin...

Question you have to ask is what are you trying to fix. I use a boatload of overkill and overkill pro in my car.

Overkill is not very thick. So really if you are trying to absorb frequencies with it---it is only going to work on the very highest of frequencies (like above maybe 5khz or so). If you are trying to stop rattles, it may work. I use some on my door panels to isolate the panel from the deadener on the doors. Stopped some squeaks. In the perfect world I would have used luxury liner pro on the doors. Door panel would not have gone back on.

On my floors I've used Luxur liner pro and overkill pro. That is a very good combination.

So basically what are you trying to accomplish? That will tell you what product to use.

I was going to use it inside my doors [behind mids.],to help stop reflections and hopefully make the mids sound smoother. Funny I just put in a order on Monday. I hope I didn't fall for some marketing B.S LOL!

P.S. ordered overkill pro.

you have to be careful with putting material that could hold water in a door. overkill pro is closed cell foam - so it will resist holding moisture.

putting it inside the door on the outer door skin may yield benefits. just keep it away from linkage and don't let any get on the bottom of the door. keep in mind that every time it rains, water runs inside the door and out drain holes.

Man I don't no what to do.I plan to keep my car for a long time so I would hate to have my doors rust out trying to be anal about sound LOL!. OK if I line the outer skin and keep it 1 inch from bottom to clear drain holes will that be ok?.

I can't think of a better reason to have my doors rust out than chasing good sound!

Sounds like a good plan to me. After installing saturate the door with a hose and see how it goes.
