I was just wanting to recommend these speakers for people that want a comp set but are limited by money and or time for install. I went down and listened to various different speakers, and comparing the jl audio c2 6x9, jl audio TR 6.25 comps, and the kenwood excelon 6x9, the kenwood sounds very clear with great midbass. the c2's come in second with an even more clear highs, but not that great of midbass.
(listened to the speakers all on flat EQ.)
i definately recommend the excelons, i picked up the 5x7 and am very happy with the choice. just enough midbass til i get the money for the c3's 5x7. bought them from the local audio shop for $150, but i saw them online for $80, im so impatient.
