custom fit speakers: either

6x9:Twister TW6933RD 3-way 300W 6x9's(with amp kit)

i like JVC products. fine HU choice.
JBL makes fine products. I don't know T1 or Twister, nor would i want them in my car. Look for JBL amps and speakers.

After reading your comments and checking them out, i found this package deal , along with the head unit it will take it up to £320.
2 questions:
1-Do i just use the wire already wired into the stock speakers behind the pannels, or do i get new wire(if so could you send me a link of some good wire [preferably from Here ] to save on postage costs.
2- should i fit the system myself, or should i pay someone to do if for me like in halfords? (i think it is about £40)

buy that package. that is all great stuff. good find!
i always prefer to replace the speaker wire. really, it mostly depends on what the factory wire is and how difficult it is to get it into the doors. with the front components you'll need to wire from the crossover to the tweeter and from the crossover to the 13cm woofer. then wire from the amp to the crossover input (wiring diagrams will be provided in the packaging).
16awg speaker wire would be sufficient. 14awg wire is a bit better. you'll also need ends - female disconnects for the speakers and spade terminals for the amps. they will be sized for the wire and speaker terminals. hopefully the speakers will come with the necessary wire - if so, just use that.
this depends on how much reading and studying you want to do first. for the information you'll need - you've come to the right place. start with the Links and References links in my signature. Also, view Team SoundDomain and Sound Domain Show Off sections for detailed installation pics.
you'll also need to figure out what you'll need to do to mount the speakers in the front locations - sometimes the additional depth of an aftermarket speaker requires a baffle. if you have access to a jig saw and drill you can make your own.

sounds good, ive got holidays before i go to university, so i can study up on it now. ive got a jig saw and lots of other tools at home, so i should manage it. i had a peek at the speaker in the door and it is about 13cm, so ill need to cut some stuff out to fit the 16.5cm speaker in. where would you suggest it would be wise to have my amp? in the back or front? i thought you could use the amp built in the HU to power the speakers, is that wrong or would it be better to power it from the amp? this is what i am probably gonna get now:JVC (HU) + better package i think this stuff will be better, plus £10 more to have a better system now is better than wanting to upgrade later on.

power all of the speakers off of the amp. don't power them from the HU.
locate the amp where ever it will be safe, secure, and the controls accessable.

the amp comes with a remote bass controll which i will probably mount to the left or right of the steering column. i dont think there are any other external controls on the amp, so i was thinking about either mouning it in the boot or under the drivers seat, any thoughts??

One question, ive just taken off the door pannel and the stock speaker is about 15.5cm diameter, should i go for these 13cm or 16.5cm because i was wondering if it is easier to make a baffle, or to cut off a bit more metal to make the speakers fit. also when making a baffle what material is good to use?? perspex?

pics of the door panel would help. going larger sometimes causes several issues - depth being one of them. you should determine the maximum depth allowed when the window is down. also, the maximum height between the metal and the door panel (the factory speaker usually has a collar or ring around it to seal to the door panel. try to replicate that seal.
