I have a 91 Honda Accord. I currently have a cheap rattler unlock and remote start. It doesnt work anymore and I was thinking about getting a reasonable alarm. I dont feel I really need a 2 way device, Im mainly just look for a nice alarm with a remote start. I have been looking at some of the viper products. I plan on installing it myself. any help would be great Thanks.

Viper 560 is a great alarm without 2 way. I like the Automate version. It's the AM7 and you can find it online for $100 to $150 but remeber onlines sales have no warranty from DEI.

Do you think you have an idea what might be wrong with my current unlock remote? I checked the fuses and they werent blown, the remote works, and all the connections were plugged in.

Just because it flashes doesn't mean the battery is at full voltage.

Who did the install?

Reprogram the remotes.

Check fuses

There is a lot of things to trouble shoot.

Ive changed the battery. Checked the fuses. It was installed at circuit city before I had the car. How would I reprogram the remote?

Open the door
put the key in the ignition and turn it to on (not started)
Press the valet button once and release
press it a second time and hold
the system will honk the horn if it's hooked up
press lock on each remote
release the valet switch
turn the car off
