Those *bright" Kappa tweeters....

If I want to change tweeter on my 6 1/2 Kappa components (the mids are fine, but those tweeter....damn! They're so bright I need a welders helmet to drive), what do I want to look for in a new tweeter so it's a good match for the Kappa mids? I'm assuming I want the tweeter's to have similar stats. Any stat more important then the others? ..ie RMS? sensitivity? Freq Response? Finding a "tweeter/sound" I like in person isn't realistic...it's just too hard to find a brick and mortar that has "higher" end equipment.
If it matters, I listen to everything from Jimmy Buffet to Judas Priest, but not much "bumping" music

You should look at a silk dome tweeter. The metal domes usually have a brighter sound to them. The Morel MT23 tweeter is one of the best sounding tweeters out there in my opinion. The problem with it is it costs more than the whole Kappa component set. Looking at the specs may get you in the ballpark, but there is no replacement to listening.
