Kenwood DNX7140 NAV in motion

Is is possible AT ALL to make the Kenwood DNX7140 allow me to input destinations etc while in motion?

Is it connected to the brake like most DVD players are or is it connected to the GPS itself and there's really no way to fool it?

HELP!

the kenwood nav systems with Garmin GPS have an option to turn safe mode off and you can enter information while driving.

Kenwoods with the garmin nav will let you turn off safety mode so you can use the gps while driving. DO NOT BYPASS THE PARKING BRAKE SENSOR. It is ILLEGAL as well as DANGEROUS.
