Digital Design Subwoofers

Can anybody tell me there opinion on these subs. I hear that they are top of the market with all around bass and clearness. I would really like to go with two Z series but I dont wanna get em, and they not sound good. If any one knows anything about them I would greatly appreciate the advice. and also what type amp would you recommend.

there are a lot more factors involved than just product selection.

why don't you start by stating a budget and telling us what type of vehicle this will be in.

I'm looking at around a 5 to 8 hundred dollar budget, and it will be installed in a 1997 Gmc Jimmy.

You do realize the Z series is an all out SPL sub that cost somewhere in the $2000/each range?

For $800 I doubt you could find a used/blown Z series sub.

DD Audio has some great sounding speakers but you are going to have to go down a few series to find them, and you are going to have to go down a bunch of series to be able to find a great sounding DD sub and be able to afford an amp to drive that sub all for $800.

you misunderstood Im looking to spend 5-$800 a sub.Just wanted info on the amp.

Amp wise--I'd recommend the biggest power you can afford. Something like an Incriminator Audio 40.1.

Again though, for $800 you will not be buying a 95Z sub from DD Audio. I read today somewhere MSRP on that sub was in the $5,000 range. The 95Z I understand is around half that.

For $800 you are in the 9500 series (not the Z series)

Amp--go with as much power as you can afford, and with the kind of power you are going to have for those subs, don't forget to budget some of your money for batteries, wire and an alternator.
