A guy on another forum was asking me about those two car alarms and how good they are.

He said he always uses Clifford but wasn't sure about those.

What are the best car alarms brands?

Clifford, Viper, Python. Most everything made by DEI.

If you look at a lot of the Clifford/Viper/Python alarms, they are the same aside from the way the remote looks.

I heard Vipers are easy to crack.

Mine is just going to be the basic pager remote and I'm sure with keyless entry from Viper.

Any poorly installed alarm is easy to bypass. There is pleny of tips on the sticky at the top of this page.
