Hi im new here, been installing a lot of systems in my friends/ my cars lately, but never dealt with buying stuff(we mainly just piece together stuff our friends are selling. SO lately i have got it in my head that im going to get all new stuff. im currently on a pretty tight budget of 400$, and A portion of that would need to be included in building a box.

So far this is what i have come up with

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-aIuBeCHIC5z/p_575P1S415/Rockford-Fosgate-P1S415.html?tp=111

Rockford 15" buy one get one free 150$

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882519020

Kicker 300w 150$ (kindve small but i can upgrade that down the road when i have more money)

Then i came up with this for the box
25$--4x8 sheet of 3/4" MDF
20$-- 2 cans spray adhesive
20$-- carpet(something i found at walmart...)
10$-- terminals
75$ total

If anyone has any corrections or suggestions please let me know,, thanks in advance for the help

That is about right. You may want to avoid the bottom of the line ROckford Subs. I have NEVER had good fortune with them....

I like the Kicker Comp's for about the same money. Also the TMA line from JL is KILLER for the money.

Have you thought about just buying a prefab? That same $75.00 would buy you a prefab ready to go.

And don't forget wiring between the amp and battery. \:\)

ive already ran the wires temporarily (through the frame instead of through firewall.. until it gets warm and i feel like spending time outside)

I was kind of wary about buying the low end subs too but do you have any other suggestions on what i should get?
.. also where can i find good prefabbed boxes? I have made my own before and i was kind of set on making one that fit my car, but if i can buy one that is decent for the same price ill buy one. Thanks for the help

I was just looking and found these i could get two for 160$
like i said I dont know much about buying stuff new.So tell me your thoughts on those \:\) thanks
