Howdy,
Just joined and wanted to share some pics of our demo boat. This is the 2008 Tige RZ4 Wet Sounds demo boat.
Was at CES last year for anyone that happened to see it. Has also been around at a lot of the wakeboard events and shows.
System Installed by Hydrotunes in Austin, TX. http://www.hydrotunes.com/ Huge Props to Justin and Trey at Hydrotunes!!
System Breakdown.
Tower: 1 pair of Wet Sounds PRO 485 with 1 pair of Wet Sounds PRO 60. Custom tower with straight bar. Billet Grilles with Blue LED plexi rings.
In Boat Speakers: 4 pairs of Wet Sounds XS650 coaxials. Added Blue LED micro dots on the back of the tweeters.
Subwoofers: 3 Wet Sounds XS-XXX woofers. 1 XS-XXX under drivers footwell in 1.4 slot loaded ported box. Back lit plexi trim panel. 2 XS-XXX under passenger in 1 cu ft sealed, reverse mounted.
Amps: All Hertz amps. 3 of the HP4 models and 2 of the HP1D. 1 HP4 on the PRO 485, 1 HP4 on the PRO 60 and 1 HP4 on the XS650. 1 HP1D on the XS-XXX drivers side, 1 HP1D on the 2 XS-XXX on passenger side. The Wet Sounds Syndicate amps were not shipping when we built the boat. We have our own amp line called now, but the boat is for sale right now so we are selling it wiht the hertz amps. Next demo boat will be 100% wet sounds from amps, to speakers to eq etc..
Head Unit and EQ: Clarion CMD5 with transom remote in rear and drivers side. Wet Sounds WS 420 EQ flushed into bottom side of dash. Harmon Kardon Idrive I Pod controller. Screen flushed into dash. Control Knob flushed into dash where starter key was. Starter Key relocated to 12 volt plug location.
Batteries: 6 Kinetik batteries with 2 Kinetik on board charger/power supplies. 4 HC 2400 models. 2 in each rear compartment. 2 HC2000 hidden under fuse panel. 2 more factory batteries on board. 150 amp Balmar alternator. High Amp Perko for switching. We have also built panels to cover the rear batteries now so we can throw some extra ballast on top.
Wire: All Tsunami 0 ga for amps. Tsunami 12 ga for speaker wire. Tsunami fuses in plexi panel with LED's. All Tsunami RCA's.
Motorization: The seat back where the amps and subs are located is on a 12 volt actuator for some added show. Also, on a key fob.
Boat also has a custom wakesurfing ballast and custom interior with ostrich trim. Full vinyl wrap also.
Hope ya'll like it. Just wanted everyone on here to see a large marine system that is also still useable. This boat is used on weekends for wakeboarding and wakesurfing. So not a trailer queen. Only lost a bit of storage but a very useable system and boat.

Thanks. I don't have any. There are a couple of the amp rack pics on http://www.hydrotunes.com/
And some more pics. Under boat installs and Tige and 08 RZ4.
The amp rack has a thermoelectric cooler attached to the billet with fans also. So the amps sit on the ice cold billet.

Hey superjay,
Thanks! Everything is going great. we decided not to show at CES this year and as you probably noticed, it was a much smaller show for the 12 volt side this year. We were there walking the show and I taught a seminar on marine audio.

The attendance was down INTENTIONALLY, according to CEA. Although there were fewer people, there were more quality people. We wrote more business this year than any other year in the past. There were virtually no looky-loos. i didn't get dead tired because I didn't have to try to sell to people who had no intention of buying. Almost everyone who stopped by, and asked for the whole walk though, were dealers, prospective dealers and distributors. All in all, I was very pleased with the show.

WetSounds is the industry leader in marine audio IMO
Top performing equipment, insanely loud, over built, takes the outdoor environment.
Great customer servcie too, TIM
tied up next to a guy with quad Skylon Rubi 325's. After a while he whould not take turns so we turned up the 485's and left him with a pouty look on his face
