I am trying to figure out what class to compete in and what rules I need to follow but I am a little confused. From what I found I see Q, Advanced, Intermediate and Beginner. My best guess tells me I should be in Beginner Consumer correct?

It really depends on your install and how the car is set up...

here's my two cents on each class:

Beginner is an introduction to SQ and has a very basic set of rules. It has one seat judging and you don't have a lot of points to work with and most of the points are on the install side of the sheet.

I try and start new guys in Intermediate because it will give you a better feel for SQ competition and the points are more balances between Sound (one seat) and Install.

Advanced is a really strong class and involves two seat sound judging and creativity is brought in on the install side.

Q is a two seat class so unless your car is setup to do two seats it can be a difficult.

Hello there. I have a question about the USACi competition. I'm planning on attending to one this weekend up in Englishtown, New Jersey.

Im going to the competition with 3000 watts and 2 12" speakers, with a 12-volt setup.

What StreetBeat class will I be placed in? Will I be put in place with everyone that has 3000watts with 12s, or I will be put into a category with any amount as watts as long as its the same size speakers?? Reply asap. Thanks
