What I have is an US AMPS optimizer. This thing is great and they are greating harder to find. What it does is turn your cars inconsistent voltage into regulated 14.4v or 16v. This means more out of your amp all the time. And these voltages are conservative; some claim 17+ volts with this.

Mine is chrome and in good condition. In functions flawlessly and even comes with original box and install sheet. It does have a ding on one of the heat fins but it still looks nice. They are hand made in Florida, as are all older us amps stuff. This optimizer has treated me very well over the years but with my car being totaled and being tight on cash the toys have to go. Questions ask.

sorry no pics.

no, not at all. this actually regulates your voltage, not just store is. you can even make it a steady 16 volts. it can do this with an input voltage as low as 8 volts. in some systems this may get rid of your need for a cap, plus give your amp more all the time for a louder system. below is usamps discrpition of the optimizer.

THE OPTIMIZER is a DC to DC , it stabilizes and regulates the vehicle voltage to 14.4 Volts at 100 amps or 16 Volts at 90 amps. THE OPTIMIZER accepts a wide range of input, from 8 to 16 volts DC. An external voltage monitoring terminal is included to allow THE OPTIMIZER to compensate it's output voltage for wire loss. Multiple OPTIMIZER units can be used for any current demand. If the maximum current output of THE OPTIMIZER is xceeded, it will gradually reduce output to slightly less than the input battery voltage, preventing a total interruption of power. If left inactive, (turned off) or if the input voltage exceeds 16 volts, THE OPTIMIZER will "bypass" allowing current to "flow through" without appreciable loss. In addition, like all , THE OPTIMIZER is protected against thermal damage by a solid-state 10.000 cycle thermostat.
