Hey everyone, I got a 2009 Chevy Cobalt SS about a month ago and just installed my Alpine Head Unit with the Metra/Access GMOS-LAN-04. The car has Onstar and the Pioneer audio system installed. Everything works fine but when you turn the key to the on position and the radio turns on, it pops. When you turn the key to the acc position, there is no popping when the radio turns on. I know that it is the factory amplifier turning on. I have boosted up the ground by running an 8 gauge wire from the body to the rear of the radio and grounded the both the GMOS-LAN-04 and the radio to it. I have also heard that it could be because there is a so called "dirty" power source going into the GMOS-LAN-04. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM!!! Someone please help me!
