amp not working?

I have a kx200.2 amp running two twelve inch subs, i used it up till about three months ago took it out put it in storage and went to hooke it back up again with all the same stuff and it doesnt work. everytime i touch the remote wire to the amp the green light doent light up but the protection light comes on for like 4 sec then goes off and if i hook rcas and subs up to it the subs go crazy. any idea i have tried everything

Connect it with no load ( subs disconnected ). If the amp powers up ok with no load on it, you may want to check your subs and connections. You could still be faced with a bad amp. Storing equipment can be bad if they are not kept in a clean, dry location for the duration of storage. Subs can also cause problems if moisture gets into the voice coil. What you have will require several steps of troubleshooting to locate the problem.

well i tried it with them connected still same thing, tried different ground still same thing so i tried a different amp a kenwood 600 andit acted up to the power goes on then it clicks a few times looses power then goes on again does this continulously, i am kinda leaning toward the deck rca so i used a different set but no change is this possible, it all worked before

i'm leaning toward a wiring issue.
when nothing is connected to the amp (speaker terminals) does it stay on or shut off?

the red light on the amp atays on but the pretector light go on then off and the green power light does not come on ever not even a blink

sounds like a power supply issue. is it still under warranty?

no its not and its not a power issue i hooked it to a fifferent car all voltage everyting the same no changes in anything but it dont work i am gonna say the dek is fu barred but thanks for all yoiu help guys
