I currently have the Filter Frequency on my 4-channel amp at 80hz for my front components and 50hz for my rear coaxials. I played everything by ear and settled with the lowest settings I could get without distortion at high volumes.
Now, I'm not completely sure but it's to my understanding that if all channels on my 4-channel were set at say... 80hz, my mono amp would also be set at 80hz. Correct? Well, since I have my fronts at 80hz and rears at 50hz, I went ahead and averaged out the frequencies and set the mono to 65hz. Is this the proper way of setting the mono amp in my situation, or is there a better way to get the full spectrum of sound?
The system sounds great, but I couldn't help but ask if it could get any better. I guess I'm just a tweaker freak like that...
