Ok guys, I need your help deciding between pioneer avic-z3, kenwood dnx8120, and eclipse avn6620. These seem to be the best units I've been able to find from what few reviews I've seen. If there are better ones out there, please let me know. The most important thing to me would be the navigation, as I travel a ton. I have set aside enough money so that price shouldn't be a concern. I'm willing to pay for quality. Btw, it's going into an 08 f150, so I want a double din unit. I look forward to your suggestions.

Don't everybody reply at once! I went out yesterday to check out the units, but nobody carries them in stock. Need some input.

unless you are just dying to have the hard drive I would seriously look at the JVC KWNX7000. Personally I carry all those that have been listed here except the Eclipse, and I would take the JVC over all of them. The only reason I would look at anything else is if I were needing a unit for a competition grade sq car, in which car I would look at the Alpine 205.

I found a place here that had the pioneer and the kenwood 7120. By just playing around with it at the store, the kenwood seemed a little easier to "figure out". Also, the first address I put in, the pioneer couldn't find it, whereas the kenwood did. Like I said, the nav is very important to me.

Scott, what do you like better about the JVC? Also, how is Alpines navigation?

Thanks for the responses.

Personally I like the user interface and detachable face feature of the JVC, while I would say that Kenwood probably has the best NAV of any unit. Cost wise the JVC retails a good bit less. the addon's are a wash between the two units.

As far as Alpines Nav, well let's just say it gets me to my location sometimes. I got mine as a gift from one of my customers, and to be honest I know why he had no problem giving it up.

Scott-
Get your Alpine Updated. My Blackbird 200 is awesome. It gets me even to new streets in my area. The Blackbird v1 was a piece of work that I wouldn't have in my car. :-)

I have the w200 with the Nven852 dvdrom nav. Dealer cost on the disc updated disc is almost $300 and it's still a year or two old. Besides the whole nav unit was a gift from a customer of mine and since I have $0 tied up in it I would just as soon keep it that way.
