Everyone I have an idea, Instead of buying a custome fit box, Get a piece of 3/4 mdf and cut it perfect to fit over the storage compartment under the rear seats. You would have to rip out all the carpet under there, seal it perfect and put sound deadener. Then bolt the piece of mdf over all the storage compartments ofcourse sealing it all. The subs would be mounted to the mdf. YOu would get the maximum airspace possible under the back seats. I would also mount the rear seats to the mdf so those huge 1" thick bolt would keep the box from flexing. Don't worry Everything would be perfectly sealed. This is really hard to explain but please give your input. I am tired of my huge dual 12" ported box replacing my back seat. heres a pic of under the rear seats to give you all and idea.

The metal trays would be removed. It would also be one chamber to get the maximum airspace possible for two 12" type r's.

well its pretty much all sealed under there, I was planning on leaving the carpet and adding sound deadener on top of that. If i have to fiber glass, what thickness. But do you all think my type r's will sound alright in this much space. It will take a long time for me to slowly finish the project. I am going to take my time and do it right.

those trucks sound like ass as it is it will be hard to get those 12's to sound good.
i would say at least 1/4" thick of FG if not more...about 6 layers of at least 1 oz mat will do the trick.
honestly the logic behind deading the floor and doing a baffle is ok, but there is not enough airspace in that thing to be considered an IB setup and no matter how much deadening you put that floor is still the back baffle of that box and is gonna flex like a mofo.
flex=worst enemy.
honestly if you want to do something cool cut out that middle console and build one and downfire the 2 12's. i did a setup like this last week for 3 10's and it sounded great.
