here are a few typical causes:

1. your amplifier is not turning off - you do not have a proper remote turn-on from the head unit.

2. your amplifier sucks. cheap ones will do that.

3. your amplifier is turning off after your head unit, maybe because of a wiring problem or floating grounds.

fixes:

1. install a switch on the remote turn-on lead. turn amps on last, off first. that will ensure no pop.

2. buy better equipment.

3. ensure all of your grounds are good - head unit and amplifier grounds to car steel.

Much better
Unplug the subwoofer rca cables from the radio and turn it on and off. Does the pop go away?

Your problem is the cheap radio. The turn on/off signal and the audio outputs are not properly timed.

Here are a few band aids.

I doubt splitting the remote turn on to two amps is causing the problem. Look at the link Murph listed. That will probably take care of your problem.

i think you should just get a good head unit - every thing else you listed is good. why waste it on a poor source?

go with the David Navone model - better than Stinger.

Do some testing first. See where your problem is. It could be a bad rca cable or a ground loop.

is there any tension or pinching on the rca cables, either where they plug into the amp or into your deck?

^^^ the above will tell you whether the pop is coming from the rca's/HU or the amp itself. That will be very usefull information. I tend to agree with KHA tough. That HU is a VERY weak point in your system. No amount of gadgetry will cure a poor source unit.
