Well you didn't exactly give me a whole lot to work with here. So based off of your current equipment and quality of said equipment, I would go with this
Amp

If your subs rms at 200w a piece then do the math.
200x2=400
So look for an amp to give you 400w
If I were you I wouldn't get a 2 channel to power your subs with. Just get a monoblock amp, like the one I mentioned and just wire it to a 4ohm load. Should give you ~400w

you do not want to give your speakers more RMS power then they are rated for. you can have an amplifier that is rated for more power but you will tune it so you do not exceed the speakers ratings. basically paying for power you won't use. the advantage is that you don't stress the amplifier so you get cleaner sound and more longevity. the downside is you can blow your speakers if you are not careful.

You can go higher but there is no need. You have decent speakers. Don't push your luck.

it's a misconception. you do not want to give speakers more than they are rated for. but your amp does not put out constant power - it varies with music and the volume control.
if you set your gains so you CAN exceed the speakers rated power you need to be careful when you turn it up. having the ability to give them more power is different than actually doing it on a regular basis.
i have my xtant amps bridged for 200W RMS into each component set - which are rated 100W RMS. they do not get more than 100W of actual RMS power because of my gain settings and volume control use. I could give them more but that would destroy them.
crossover settings also play a role with power handling.
make sense?
